As part of the Chicago Monuments Project, Amanda is designing an installation at the site of the 1902 George Washington statue on the South Side. Amanda’s installation will expand beyond honoring the nation’s first president, to include the biographies of other Washingtons who deserve recognition for impacting Chicagoans or the nation as a whole.
